Rev. Rinya Frisbie grew up in small towns in central Illinois, the daughter
and granddaughter of Methodist pastors. She received her undergraduate
degree from Illinois Wesleyan University. She and her husband, James
Frisbie, graduated from seminary from the Iliff School of Theology in
Denver, Colorado. Rinya and her husband are both clergy members of the
Oregon Idaho Annual Conference. They have two sons.
When they are not at church Rinya and her husband like to fly in the
airplane (RV9A) that he built. Rinya also likes to garden and sew.
